Yahya Nemah for NPR Since the rule of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad ended, Israel has attacked Syria hundreds of times. Israel says they don’t trust the new government in Syria and so they are hitting areas in Syria adjacent to Israel in an effort disarm southern Syria.
